Rev. Phil McClelland-MDiv, MA, LPCC, NCC
Rev. Phil McClelland graduated from Concordia University, Saint Paul, MN, with a degree in Lutheran Confessions and Christian Outreach, and from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, in 2008 with a Master of Divinity. He has served in the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS) for nearly two decades, including as a sole pastor and in multi-staff ministries in Galloway, NJ, and Youngstown, OH. He currently serves in a dual parish setting as pastor of both Hosanna Lutheran and Faith Walk Lutheran congregations at The Ministry Center in Columbia Station, OH.
Pastor McClelland also holds a Master’s in Professional Counseling from Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA. He is a practicing independently licensed counselor in Ohio and Missouri (LPCC), a National Board-Certified Counselor (NCC), and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. Pastor McClelland specializes in working with complex trauma, mood disorders, couple’s counseling, anxiety and depression, as well as specializing in clergy specific concerns.
He is the Founder and CEO of My Integrity Counseling, an online multi-state professional counseling platform known for serving clients with integrity and compassion. He is also a Co-Founder and CEO of My VIDA Recovery in San Antonio, TX, which provides substance abuse counseling and outpatient services throughout Texas.
In addition to his ministry and counseling work, Pastor McClelland is an adjunct professor at Davenport University in Michigan, where he teaches courses such as Law and Ethics, Group Counseling, and Practicum. He also serves as a student mentor and sits on the Advisory Board for the Mental Health Counseling Program.
Within the LCMS, Pastor McClelland has served as a District Reconciler for the SELC District and as a care partner for the Ohio District and the SELC District. He provides conflict resolution services for congregations and specializes in pastoral care and support for clergy and their families.
